सरू (Cedrus या Cedar) चीड़ परिवार का कोणधारी किस्म का एक पौधा है। यह पश्चिमी हिमालय और भूमध्य क्षेत्र में पाया जाता है। हिमालय क्षेत्र में यह १५००-३२०० मीटर एवं भूमध्य क्षेत्र में १०००-२२०० मीटर की ऊँचाई पर पाया जाता है।[1]
